My New Machine Washable Kitchen Rug

Y’all I got a new rug for our kitchen. It’s cute and sassy and it’s machine washable. Let the hallelujah choir sing. In case you are new to the blog I have some traffic moving through my house. Traffic equals dirt and mess.

I’m totally ok with the dirt, mess, spilled jelly, crumbs, cat puke and dog tinkles – they mean a home well loved and lived in. But is it to much to ask for an easier way to keep the rugs clean? I’ve searched high and low for a rug cleaner in our area to no avail. FINALLY – I got a Ruggable rug and my problem is solved. At least it is in the kitchen! We LOVE our new machine washable rug for the kitchen. This Ruggable Rug in a berry print adds whimsical fun to our kitchen, is stain resistant and stays in place. You can see a video of how our new kitchen rug runner is the best kitchen rug for us on the blog! #kitchenrug #washablerug #affirdablerug

I decided to add a punch of fun with this berry print rug and I adore how it wakes up our sleepy little kitchen. You can order the same one for your house here.

In case you aren’t familiar Ruggable rugs they are MACHINE WASHABLE RUGS. You read that correctly. It literally comes off the floor and goes in your washer. And I’m not talking about a commercial sized washer. Just a regular one. I always say it’s the little things that get me, and this is one of them! The rug comes in two parts, a rug pad and rug top. They easily lay together and then come apart when it’s time to wash. We LOVE our new machine washable rug for the kitchen. I made a video of exactly how the rug works because I was so excited to show it off. Grab all the details of how to lay a Ruggable rug and how to wash a ruggable rug in the video! I also like the fact that this rug is thin, so no tripping on it, but it stays in place! So many rugs I’ve had in the past won’t stay put and slide around. We’ve had this one for months now and it doesn’t do that. We LOVE our new machine washable rug for the kitchen. It’s amazing how much a rug can change a space. The extra cool thing is I can change this rug out easily. Once you have the rug pad you can order just the rug top to change things up a bit. That’s my plan. I have shared the rug over on Instagram and had tons of questions, so I hope this little post answers them all, if not just let me know!  We LOVE our new machine washable rug for the kitchen. Love the rug! My eye went immediately to the black iron on staircase, the black coffee pot and the black candelabra. What a connection!

I’ve always wanted to get one of these. I ordered a 3 x 5 for my rear entry where the dog bowl and everyone enters. It’ll be perfect. Thank you Kim. Cindy <3

    I didn’t see a discount code?
Also, have you washed yours yet because some people’s comments were that the corners curl after washing. Thanks!

The discount code has expired unfortunately, and the corners lifted slightly after washing but they relaxed and I haven’t had a problem since. I hope that helps! thanks so much, Kim
