Who couldn’t use a little more budget friendly but still pretty organization ideas? This little IKEA hack will have you organized in style on a dime, fast! I love to take the inexpensive finds I get at IKEA and make them fit my decor. The good news is you can find these basic cardboard magazine holders all over the place, sometimes even the dollar store.
I find these magazine holders to be perfect for a variety of organization situations, but they are lending a helping hand in my office right now. But these would look great in a bookshelf, kids room, craft room, laundry room…I could go on, but you get the picture.
I grabbed these plain white magazine holders from IKEA a while back and did this quick little hack on them so they would go gorgeously in my office.
Here is a quick video tutorial on how to make your organization gorgeous.
It’s important to note I’m a part time napkin hoarder and I grab pretty ones whenever I see them…party, project or nothing in mind. These black and white florals from Tuesday Morning were the perfect touch for my office. Keep your eyes peeled for patterns and colors that fit your decor style.
What do you think? Do you have an old box, magazine holder or other organization tool that needs a little update? I’m pretty sure this will do the trick!

Yes a great Idea. I use them for everything. To store my folded materials in for sewing. Store my lids for my pots in the kitchen. Store loose recipes, bills, even as a folders for filling papers with labels telling what’s in them. Endless ideas.

I use them to hold my vinyl rolls for my Cricut. You can attach the wood or plastic ones to the corner of a wall as a shelf.
