Fall Decorating in the Dollhouse!
Y’all know I love my dollhouse. If you are new here and want the backstory you can read about it here. I loved getting it put back together and now that the major reno is done I’m loving dressing it for the holidays. Miniatures.com is my go-to spot for all things dollhouse and I worked with them to add a few new touches to the house for fall along with a few DIY projects!
Thanks to miniatures.com for sponsoring this post, all ideas and opinions are 100% my own.I started off ordering some cute fall and Halloween decor from miniatures.com to jazz up the living area of the dollhouse. When that package hits the mailbox I get so excited! Why are mini things SO CUTE?
The kitchen items are probably my favorite, the tiny cake and pie. Seriously, does it get cuter?
Baking supplies spread all over really makes this house feel like home. This is what our kitchen looks like during the holidays…I ordered a mini Halloween house that you put together yourself, it was a fun little project I did while watching TV with the kids.
My daughter Mae helped me with the DIY projects. She painted this shutter white so we could add the vintage Halloween cards we got from miniatures.com to it. I used some scrap fabric and jute to tie a little bow for the shutter. You could easily change this out for holiday decor.
This pumpkin wreath is so adorable, I wish I had a life size one! I use poster gum to hang all the things on the walls of the dollhouse. It works well and is not permanent so I can change things out!
How about the little doormat!? They have a bunch of different seasonal mats and they are really inexpensive.
Of course, pumpkins and fall apples scattered around make great decor in a dollhouse or real home.
The last DIY we made was a fall bunting with scrap fabric. Just cut some tiny triangles and glue them to a string of jute and you can hang them all over!
Since we recently got a new puppy I had to order a mini Oliver for the dollhouse! Mae updated the color to look more like our little guy, now we have all the animals represented.
I feel like I say this all the time, but you really should try decorating a dollhouse, it is so fun and gives such satisfaction. You can quickly finish projects and change things out seasonally. I love it!

Is the kitchen part of your larger dollhouse or is it a separate vignette? It is just adorable!
