dollar store christmas ornament makeover
Updating these ornaments are super easy!!! I painted each ornament a base color, using either barn red, burnt umber, true green, or cocoa. Make sure to coat the ornament completely and hide the shiny part underneath! Then, use a paper towel dipped in your paint color of choice and add some accents to the ornament. This will just give it a bit more interest and dimension!! While still wet, dip the ornament into either cocoa powder or baking soda. This really is a mix-and-match game, so there’s no right or wrong here. Just go with your heart!
After letting the ornaments sit for a bit, I used my chip brush to dust off any excess powder.
That is legitimately all there is to this dollar store Christmas ornament update!! Budget-friendly, easy, and they look so much better!!
