DIY Small Feather Picture: A Great Gift For Guys

You guys really seemed to like the large feather wall art I did a while back, thank you! Well, at the same time I made that project I whipped up a small one too! I wanted to give a little reminder to my dad of all his pheasant hunting trips.A great gift for guys this DIY small peasant art is easy and inexpensive to make from Pheasant feathers!

This would make a great gift for the guy in your life…I feel like so many DIY projects lend themselves to the ladies. This project was SO simple to make. I actually painted an old frame I had and then used the same technique as in the large wall art for this small feather picture.A great gift for guys this DIY small peasant art is easy and inexpensive to make from Pheasant feathers!

If you have an old brown paper sack that’s great, you could just as easily use a heavy cardstock, especially if you want a different color, black would be striking! I crumbled mine up for a nice texture and aged feel.budget art DIY project use pheasant feathers or craft feathers to make beauctiful art, perfect for a gift for men or just elegant home decor on a budget. #feathercraft #easyDIY #artproject

Just use a good adhesive glue and delicately apply the glue to the shaft of the feathers and arrange on your “canvas”.A great gift for guys this DIY small peasant art is easy and inexpensive to make from Pheasant feathers!

If you want to change it up a bit you could do just one feather or a few more, I would suggest using 1, 2 or 3 feathers and then from there stay in odd number layouts for a design that is pleasing to the eye.

Hope you enjoy this simple gift idea! I’d love for you to share it on Pinterest if so! Thanks as always guys!   A great gift for guys this DIY small peasant art is easy and inexpensive to make from Pheasant feathers!
