DIY Candle Holder from a Wedding Candelabra

Turn an old wedding candelabra into a sweet DIY candle holder

Hope you are having a great day. This project will inspire you to look for things you can take apart and put together a little differently. I found these old wedding candelabras on the curb and slammed the brakes to load them up. I decided taking them apart was the best plan of attack to reuse these in new way for a cottage style candle holder.Cute DIY ideas to upcycle old wood cutting boards into decor. This one uses old wedding candelabras for home decor!

I pulled some of my favorite DIY material out of the pile and went to work. If you are new here I have a stash of vintage fence pickets that I use ALL THE TIME. You can buy new pickets and paint them for a similar look. (I’ll link a few other fence picket ideas below for you to check out!)Old fence pickets for a million projects! www.huntandhost.net

After I took the candelabra apart I wash it really good then put the sweet little flowers back together again. ( I also made this from the candelabra flowers!) All I had to do was get a short screw with a head fat enough to cover the base hole and I screwed the flowers to the picket. That is such a special compliment, thank you. I love to make fun stuff, but never know how well received it will be. I guess in the end as long as my people like it I’m good, but it means the world that others like it too!

I love what you did with the candle holders, but the post and arms of the candelabra would be perfect to put my husbands percussion cymbals on to store them. Since he plays everything from symphony music, to jazz, to country western, and back again. Each cymbal has a different sound, size, etc. I’ll have to keep an eye out for one of them
