A Pretty Day

This post may contain affiliate links.

Do you ever just need a pretty day?

I do.

splendor psalm 71 8

A day when I choose to focus on all that is done rather than all things undone.

splendor psalm 71 8

A day that my to do list doesn’t boss me around.

splendor psalm 71 8

A day to get dressed just for myself, to shake off the frumpy pj days I’ve been having.

splendor psalm 71 8

A day where I stop and see the glory in the beautiful details God surrounds me with.

splendor psalm 71 8

A day to relish in the blessing poured out in my life.

splendor psalm 71 8

Because really, there are enough days wasted worrying about all the other stuff.

splendor psalm 71 8

Today I’m sharing some pictures I’ve taken of the little details I come across when I actually stop to linger in the world.

splendor psalm 71 8

I hope you enjoy, relax and succumb to the sweetness around you.

splendor psalm 71 8

My mouth is filled with your praise, declaring your splendor all day long. Psalm 71:8

May the Lord bless your readers as well … Praise God All Day Long.
What you wrote about enjoying what you have and what’s done instead of focusing on what’s not done really hit home to me. And about a To Do List that bosses you around all day long. I threw mine away. Gorgeous pics BTW

Umm….I want to go on this nature walk with you!! And I totally thought of you today…I seriously saw an old crib sitting on the curb and I picked up the siderails…no earthly idea what in the heck I might do with it but surely I can figure something out!

I love it, I am sure we can come up with something to do with that crib! I see a project in our future…
