HOW TO MAKE A SCRAP WOOD SNOWMAN FAMILY

Step 1. Start with a landscape timber to get the round look of the snowman. Or use any scrap wood.

Use a chop saw to cut the timber to the size you want. Visit the blog post for the lengths I used.

Step. 2

Step. 3

Paint the snowman family with a white wash finish.

Gather up scraps of fabric, junk drawer items, left over nuts and bolts. Whatever you have handy.

Step 4.

Make these with any theme. Just have fun! Give each snowman the personality of the person it represents.

For the animals I used  a 1 inch thick dowel rod. Isn't he cute?

Find an element that draws you in.

I love to bring this snowman family out each season.

This can stay up staight through winter.
