Up Your Photography Game

Today is a little off the normal topic around here, but it’s something I’m passionate about. When God called me to this little blog a few years back the very first thing he told me to do was work on my photography. He told me to do this even before he told me to start a blog. Excited at my marching orders I found a photographer to sit with me and go over the basics…at the rate of $50/hour. At the time the information she shared was invaluable to me, my photography got a kick start and the one thing she told me over and over was absolutely true. Photography takes practice.

Over the last three years I have steadily gotten better at taking pictures and it’s one of my very favorite aspects of the blog. Photography is a skill that can be used throughout life at any stage or age. Not only do I love to take pictures for the blog, but I love to take pictures of my family and I’m an avid scrapbooker. It’s so nice to have lovely family photos to reminisce on and share.
