Before we dive into my favorite sophisticated crow decor for fall, I want to preface by saying that I know ravens and crows are different birds- BUT for the purpose of this blog post they are the same, okay? Crows are the PERFECT go-to Fall decor… they give all of the slightly spooky, chilly, hayride vibes and I absolutely love it. A bonus for your decor, they are great for fall AND Halloween, so they can stick around for a bit. I honestly think you could get by in winter too!
The problem I’ve had is that it can be challenging to find sophisticated crow decor, or something that doesn’t look cheesy. I mean, don’t get me wrong, there is a time and place for cheesy and Halloween is definitely one of the times. But when it comes to actual Fall decor for me, I tend to lean more dark academia, european cottage. And the little $5 crows at Target just aren’t doing it for me (no hate to Target, I love that place). So, I’ve been on the hunt for the right crows to put in my home and I think I’ve found some pretty amazing nods that you’re going to love for Fall!

I mean…. seriously, are you kidding me with how precious some of this stuff is? Some of it, I really think you could leave up all year depending on the vibes in your home. Who would’ve thought crows and ravens would be the secret to a cozy fall space??
And not to worry about the crows and ravens bringing on bad omens, some cultures actually think they’re good luck and symbolize new beginnings. After I read that, I did a bit of digging in the Bible and ravens are mentioned a few times, never in a bad light. Check out 1 Kings 17 and Luke 12:24 for reference. Regardless though, I don’t really believe in “bad luck.” A crow is a crow and it just so happens to be beautiful decor, too.
Now, if you want to see a DIY crow, I’ve got that too…. plus a free pattern to help you out. Check it out here!
