Have you always wanted to go see the sites and shop the fields at Round Top Antiques Week? Maybe you’ve been too worried about where to start, where to park, how to negotiate, where to stay and what to eat. Or maybe you haven’t had anyone to go with or simply haven’t made the time yet. Now is your chance to go with me!
Let me be your personal guide for a jam-packed, information filled, special day of shopping one of the largest antique events in the U.S. Here is all the info you need to know about our day together! This will be an extremely small group with limited availability, first come first serve. Feel free to come alone or grab a girlfriend, sister, mom, aunt, cousin or like-minded soul to join you. YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS THE FUN, so grab a spot before they are gone.
Watch this video for my personal invitation then scroll down for all the details.
Why go with Kim? You might be wondering why you should go with me on your inaugural trip to the antique motherland!? I’ve been shopping Texas Antiques Week for over 12 years and have been to just about every venue there. I know the ins and outs, I’m a seasoned vet of treasure hunting and negotiation, have a knack for finding what people are looking for and simply think this place is Heaven on Earth. You are in good hands!
What does the day include? Our day together will kick off with a fun swag bag to get you inspired and prepared to hunt till the cows come home. We will meet in a set location and then I will drive you through a day of shopping. We will visit my favorite hunting grounds, chat with the best vendors and you will be fully versed in negotiation/buying 101. I will have loads of snacks and goodies to help you power through the day. By the time we wrap up you will know how to navigate the area on your own and have a load of treasures and memories to carry home.
What people are saying! One treasure hunter had this to say after her experience: “All of your information made us feel confident even before we arrived!! All the acres and acres of available shopping was overwhelming to newbies, but with your 12 years of shopping experience guiding us through all the miles we felt very satisfied with all the discoveries of the day!!”
What is NOT included? While I will provide gobs of treats and information you are responsible for the following: travel to and from Round Top, hotel accommodations if needed, all purchases as well as any delivery fees or hauling of large purchases you might make. I can advise you in these areas, but booking and payment is your responsibility.
When is it? Antiques Week happens twice a year. The shopping days I have available for the 2019 SPRING show are Thursday, April 4th or Friday April 5th, 2019. We will meet at a specified location at 8:30 AM and wrap up at 4 PM.
What do I wear? How much money do I bring? What do I need to be prepared? If you decide to spend the day shopping Round Top Antiques Week with me I will send you all the information you need, answer all your questions and get you fully prepared to make the most of our day together! Please note this day involves a TON of walking, so please be prepared for this aspect of the trip.
How much does this adventure cost? The fee for our day together is $250 payable through Eventbrite upon booking. Go Here for the April 4th Tour or go here for the April 5th tour
What is the cancellation policy? There is no cancellation available, but if I have a wait list started and can fill your spot I will gladly refund you upon filling your spot. Due to the planning and logistics, all spots will need to be filled in advance, I’m sorry it can’t be more flexible! We will shop rain or shine, hot or cold.
How do I sign up? If you are interested in learning the ropes of Round Top Antiques Week please join this e-mail list. I will send an e-mail as soon as registration opens and then it is first come first serve. If you don’t think you can make this event but are interested in next season please join the email list as well. I will send out notifications to this special group of people first next time!
