Who’s up for a quick garden mantel decor idea? 
About this time of year the grass starts getting crunchy under my feet. The mosquitoes rival fighter jets.
And let’s be real, I don’t “glisten” any longer I flat out sweat. It’s Hot in Texas. 
You know what makes me feel good though? A sweet little spot decorated in my house. Especially if it’s fresh with greenery, light and cool A/C. I could just sit with my feet up and drink ice cold water gazing at such a sight all day long. Of course I never sit still for that long, but I would love it if I did.
You can throw together a charming little spot just like this in your house too. Grab something unexpected like a vintage bread pan and a few mismatched pots or vases. Go cut something green from your yard that has managed to outwit the heat and scatter it around. 
Stack a few pieces of nothing, some architectural interest, cast offs or whatever you have on hand that will lend it’s height and curves to your spot like a supermodel would. A few books thrown in never hurt my feelings. It doesn’t take much, just some things you have on hand with a splash of green and you are all set for a gorgeous garden mantel in minutes!
