Bible Tabs and Prayers Journals get your planning and organizing headed in the right direction!
I might as well call August organizing month. It’s like Spring cleaning, but less manual labor.
The carefree, schedule free summer always does this to me. I love every minute of it, but by the end order is my pickles and ice cream to a pregnant lady. I NEED it.
Luckily I have a dear friend who is a master at making organizing (at least on paper) pretty and fun.
Here are three products of hers that excite me about getting life back in order after an off the rails summer. They all come from Katie’s shop Farm Girl Journals on Etsy.
Bible Tabs:
Let me start by saying I love my bible. I really do. You can tell by it’s tired, ragged edges. It just turned 20. It needed a facelift.
The little thumb tab labels it came with were falling off regularly. My sloppy scrawled handwriting was no substitute. It deserves more love than that.
Enter Farm Girl Journal’s bible tabs. They are cute, bright and laminated. They came with a cool guide that helped me put them on correctly. Now when I see my bible it smiles at me and says thanks for the love.
Day Planner:
Oh my preciousness. I was grumbling to my dear friend Katie about my lack of organization and how I had three to five different lists going at any time. She promptly set me straight and got all my crazy into one adorable day planner. I sent her the artwork for the cover and she made it custom for me. Being friends has it’s privilege.
Although I think she will do that for anyone.
I just like to think she loves me that much.
Farm Girl has a variety of cover options as well as internal layouts so you can pick the one that suits you best. She also has amazing teacher planners that I will never need, but might be right up your alley.
This recovering scrap paper list maker is now working out of one book. It’s earth shattering.
Prayer Journal:
Katie gives details of how to follow along daily with a prayer system she came across that moved mountains in her prayer life.
I must admit, no matter where you are in your walk this system can benefit you. If you are new, it is a good guide. If you are further in your walk it really causes you to stop, inspect your day and see Christ in all the details. If you are in a rut, it can be the tool to push you through. It also makes a great gift.
I think all my family has received one at this point. Hope she comes out with something new by this Christmas 😉
I hope these things will inspire you to put a little cute pep into your Fall organizing. You can read more about Katie here, her office makeover here or order the products you see above here.
I am working on a reclaimed shutter organizational center to share with you next week. See you then!
