Now that you have run out and searched the wild for treasures ( see the where we hunt post ) let’s look at a few ways to put those prizes, specifically horns, to use. It is important to know that deer horns don’t need to be banished to a man cave or some mountain hideaway. They are beautiful, delicate works of art produced by Mother Nature. They can totally be girly and glamorous! Let’s walk through my friend’s house and see the unique ways she displays her lovely horn decor.
These antlers add three dimensional flair to this gorgeous entry piece. They seem to great you, arms open and welcoming as you enter this home.
Casually placed horns sit under a high glam chandelier and add just the right amount of edgyness to this secluded sitting area in the Master bedroom. Don’t you just want to cozy up with a cup of coffee? Luxury at its best.
These delicate little antlers peek out of the bookshelf in this darling girl’s nursery. This is proof that horns aren’t always for stinky boys and caves. Pink, pretty and perfectly sweet!
It’s plain to see that horns aren’t just masculine with these pictures. We have a horn of protection as well! Let this remind you that in the same way these beautiful antlers provide defense and protection to an animal, we all have defense and protection – ours is however unseen.
The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation. 2 Samuel 22:2-3

Love this! I am debating purchasing an antler chandelier for my dining room. I would cover it with a soft white paint. I have white plates on the wall and a Huge plastic ornate frame that I picked up off the side of the road and painted white. I’m thinking the open airy feel of the antlers offer a touch of nature. A funky juxtaposition. Just need some encouragement! Should I go for it?
