It is our last week of summer and I am here to admit I have nothing for you today.
The lack of schedule summer provided has officially gotten the best of me.
I was soooo ready for the first day of school to hurry up and get here. And now as we sit just a few days from go I feel like pumping the brakes.
Did we spend enough time swimming and being lazy? Did we spend enough time snuggling up and doing nothing?
I think we did, but I might want just a little more.
I’m not ready for the growing up another year brings. I wish they would slow down on the whole getting older thing. So I will just spend these last few days lovin on them.
On that note, what I thought I’d share today is love.
I love and thank each one of you for taking a moment out of your day to spend with me. You can truly never know the way it speaks to my soul. I pray for each of you. I pray that you are blessed by your time here and that God would use me to speak to your heart on his behalf.
Today I took about five minutes to walk outside to my crispy crunchy rain thirsty yard and picked a few flowers to put in my window. It was slim pickins, but this simple task brings me great joy. Then I grabbed a driftwood piece I featured the other day and put them together for a sweet little picture.
I hope it brings you joy and love today dear friends.
Because love is what it’s all about.
1 Corinthians 13:13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
So true!
All we need is love…to my Beatles fan
