Hunt & Host Hangouts Vol. 1

For a while now I have been wanting to share with you some of the spots I “hang out” either in the real or virtual world.

Writing a blog causes me to wander around and network a bunch in my little corner of the web. I always appreciate when someone weeds through and filters things down for me, so this is the place where I do that for YOU!

I’m not sure I will have a hang out edition every week, but more when the mood strikes me.

I hope you enjoy these things as much as I do!

This week brought me one of my favorite shopping adventures ever…Round Top Antiques week.

And I got to hang out there two separate days.

With amazing friends.

It always manages to inspire me.

Here we are at the end of the day, trunk full of goodies, sweaty, stinky and lovin’ every minute of it!

While strolling the venues I visited with Anita from  Cedar Hill Farmhouse. Her booth was as beautiful as her blog. I just love getting to talk with bloggers in real life.

We also ran into Korie Robertson of Duck Dynasty fame while shopping. We were going to stalk her, but I don’t think she was up for it, so we left her alone.

Did you know she wrote a children’s book? It is precious…would make a great Christmas book! Duck Commander Devotions for Kids (affiliate link)

Round Top always makes me think of Miranda Lambert.

She shops here. I have run into her many times.

Not this visit though.

I want to go stay at her hotel. It looks delightful.

Miranda shops at Winnie & Tulula’s (used to be The Sweet Pea Collection) and so do I. It’s like we’re sisters or something.

Anyway, Winnie’s owner GLoria ALWAYS has impeccable taste and creative ideas.

Here is another beautiful Fall home tour I like:

My kids made these pinecone owls from the tutorial by Town And Country Living. Such an easy, fun fall project:

Holy Cow these look amazing. My daughter will love them. Fall just makes me think camp fire and S’mores.

To bad it feels like a campfire

ALL. DAY. LONG.

My local peeps need to hangout at The Dish BCS for the latest events and happenings in our area, the fall is filled with fun stuff!

I can’t wait to introduce you to a group of junk loving bloggers on Monday. We each have a project inspired by Fall to share with you…I know it will be a blast of creativity! See you then!
