This lovely welcome fall wreath banner DIY is super simple to make and will be a great addition to your fall decor.
Let me show you how easy it is to make so you can make your own festive fall banner!
Today I’m sharing a fun Maker’s Studio Project using a welcome fall wreath stencil on drop cloth to create a fall banner. Drop cloth is a wonderful, inexpensive fabric alternative.
It’s soft and muted in color, and a little worn looking. To me that adds charm. Drop cloth is easy to find in different sizes at hardware stores.supplies needed for welcome fall wreath

instructions for welcome fall wreath diy
- Start by cutting your drop cloth to the size that you need to hang on your dowel rod.
- Place the welcome fall stencil in the center of the banner. Stencil with your color of choice. I used all muted fall colors.
- It’s best to start with the “welcome fall” words first, then add various colors in the wreath. This makes for a colorful display.
- Hot glue the top of the drop cloth around the dowel rod.
- Let dry.
- Display your beautiful fall wreath banner.
