All opinions are mine alone. #JoinTheFizztivities #CollectiveBias We love to play games at our house and fit in a family game night whenever time allows. If you are looking to get a great gift for a family on your list then you have landed in the right spot! I have a complete list of the best games to gift for a family game night basket and a few other fun ideas you can tuck in there as well!
If you hang out with our family for long you will learn the game is great but the accompanying snacks are even better. No good get together at our coffee table is complete without some fun drinks and munchies, so you want to be sure and add those to your gift basket. For an extra festive fun night I got the kids all different kinds of beverages to try from Coca-Cola. It was a taste test treat that was like a second game all to itself. I’m loving the fact that Coca-Cola mixed up two of my favorites, Coca-Cola and cinnamon for a magical taste this year. Be sure to add Coca-Cola® Cinnamon to your basket (have you tried it yet?). It will add a super festive flair to the night. BTW – Coca-Cola has a TON of amazing holiday ideas you can check out here to #JoinTheFizztivities, please head over and see what all they have to share!I found it at our Ah-mazing Kroger. When you are shopping for it you will know it by the little cinnamon stick on the box, don’t miss it…
The kids liked the Sprite Winter Spiced Cranberry, it’s like the holidays in a can. The DASANI Sparkling Berry was a hit for my non-soda drinker. Don’t forget to throw in some old school glass Coca Cola bottles, is there anything better than a Coke from a bottle? Such memories for me! I mixed in some salty snacks like popcorn and peanuts which made the whole crew happy campers. Let’s be real, we are competitive enough without hunger adding to the mix, lol!!!
Now let’s chat about what game you should give the lucky family! Mexican Train is our family’s favorite, but down below I have a list of games that would be perfect to give to a family with tweens and teens like ours. Please be sure to tell me if I left your family’s favorite off the list so I can add it! Total side bar – our Kroger has a whole toy section, does yours? You can knock all this out in one shop. woot woot!
Presentation is everything so grab a cute bucket and fill it up with everything a sweet little family needs to have a great night together, because that is what the holidays and family time are about. Being together, having fun and enjoying one another. What a special gift to give or receive!

Mexican Dominoes is one of our favs too. Out of all you listed what would be your family’s next fav game? When our family gathers once a year for a summer vacay we play BINGO with prizes. I display all the prizes from adult ones (gift cards to Nordstrom, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Anthropologie, Tanger Outlets, etc) to kids and when someone BINGO’s they get to select whatever their heart desires. I noticed you have kiddos of older ages and I would love some suggestions from your boys for prizes this year. Thinking positive we will get to do again this summer. We have 4 grandsons, ages 10, 12, 12 and 16. Our grandgirls are 2, 7, and 9. Your daughter may can think of a few things for them. Thanks so much!
