Howdy friend! So happy to have you join me today! I am sharing a simple but BEAUTIFUL deer print garland you can DIY in no time! Deer Print Garland Supply List

Large old book, hymnal or music sheets

Deer stencil

Chalkart Paint with spreader

Old sewing patterns or tissue paper

Hole punch

Jute string

Start by tearing out a few pages of an old book or music sheet book. You can find old worn ones in thrift stores for cheap. Feel free to copy pages out of a book if you don’t want to tear them out!

Next use your Maker’s Studio deer stencil and center it on your book page. You will apply the Chalkart paint over the stencil with the spreader, removing the excess paint and returning it to the jar. (you can get more info on how to work with these stencils here)

Gently remove the re-usable stencil from the sheet and go ahead and print another sheet. You can repeat this process a few times without having to wash the stencil in between prints. When you start to loose detail, wash and dry the stencil then repeat until you have the amount of deer prints you’d like. Punch two holes at the top of the sheet. This gorgeous deer banner from sheet music is the perfect garland to decorate your mantel for the holidays or year round. #stencil #makerboss #chalkcouture #deerdecor #chalkart #musicsheet #holidaygarland

Next lay your sewing pattern paper out flat. Cut pennant style triangles out. I like to make sure there is pattern writing on the pieces I cut so you may have to move the paper around to get what you want. Punch two holes in the top of the triangle. This gorgeous deer banner from sheet music is the perfect garland to decorate your mantel for the holidays or year round. #stencil #makerboss #chalkcouture #deerdecor #chalkart #musicsheet #holidaygarland

I laid out my triangles and pages on the coffee table in a pattern to make sure I had a long enough strand to decorate my mantel. This also made it easier to stay organized. This deer garland would look good anywhere. The detail of these stencils are amazing and the finished product looks so exquisite and expensive. I won’t tell anyone how easy it was for you to make, I promise! Just think about all the other things you could use to make a banner or the surface you can stencil on!
