I love a good budget decorating idea and this Easter table centerpiece is an affordable option anyone can do today! Easter is such a sweet time to decorate and I love that there are so many available “theme” ideas to run with in your Easter decor…eggs, bunnies, spring colors and more. It makes picking a jumping off point easy on the creativity!
I used my old friend, cardboard again on this Easter table. I can’t help it – cardboard is so readily available with all the delivery boxes we get. I love that you can use cardboard to make decor any style or size and it is FREE! WOOHOO! I did use some dollar store eggs to trace as a pattern. I had a cute little helper too…
After you cut out eggs remember to paint them in a curved motion to help give them shape. I painted each with a light color, dry brushing the paint on so it has texture and variation. Since this is a centerpiece, I painted both sides of the eggs so they look good all around.
I got some dowel rods from the dollar store and hot glued them to the back of the eggs.
To put the centerpiece together I used greenery foam to stake the eggs in and layered brown craft paper to fill my wood box then dollar store grass on top.
These cute little carrots are a dollar store find as well!
The fence piece? Dollar Tree – it is plastic but looks adorable here.
I got cute paper plates and napkins at JOANN!
In case you are new here, setting a table is one of my favorite things. We eat dinner at the table 95% of the time at our house and my family has grown to love having a beautiful setting for our gathering. It really makes a difference, if you don’t set a table and eat at it regularly, I encourage you to try it. It’s a great way for a family to spend quality time together.
Blessings to you and yours this Easter season. Remember what the holiday is truly about – Christ died so we may live. Spread the love by sharing this little Easter table, thanks so much friend!

Love this. I already have all of this here so i’ll Put something like this together. I love that you used paper plates too. I usually would because we would have the family I get her for Easter but with social distancing it will only be us.

Kim,
I loved your cardboard Easter eggs so much. It was the inspiration for the easter bunny mixed media my granddaughters did while we’ve been spending so much time together due to social distance. Thank you so much!

What a lovely dining room and table. You have such a talent for affordable DIY and you incorporate things to use for design that would probably be tossed in the trash. Bravo that’s they way to go, recycle, reuse, repurpose and so it goes. Blessings to you and your family during the Easter season. I am so glad I found another DIY page I love I am very choosy.
