We are encouraged to approach the throne with boldness and an unwavering belief that God is all that is good and for our good. This special gift is not earned by our behavior, it is promised by our faith. Whatever you ask of God you must BELIEVE he is able, capable and willing to meet the needs of his beloved daughters and sons. God is not a winning lottery ticket but a fair and just God who has more big picture wisdom than we do. He will act in our best interest, even when we don’t see the fruit, he is always working for us.
But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. James 1:6
