This verse is one that helps me put things in perspective. The times I want to get angry at little things, search out my faults or those of others, the times when life doesn’t seem fair, I ask myself, “how does this matter in the light of eternity?” When I step back and look at the big picture, the end game, I’m free to let things go. I’m free to look to the promise of eternity and know that one day soon it won’t matter that the dishwasher was loaded “wrong” or that someone cut me off in the school pick up line. What will matter is walking in a hope, trust and reflection of Christ. I’d love to hear what this verse means to you.
