Watering cans are the perfect example of making your decor work for you. By that I simply mean decorating with “things” that aren’t just things, but also serve a purpose– that’s where a true win comes in. By decorating with pieces we ALSO use in our daily life, we need less storage to stuff away those ugly things, and it’s pretty convenient too. So today I’ve rounded up 50+ watering cans to use and decorate with… and I’m even going to give you some ideas to incorporate them into your decor!!
watering cans to use and decorate with
Ugh– they are all SO cute!! And so easy to incorporate into your current decor, whether inside or outside!! Some fun examples of ways to add these into your daily life are:
- Turn the watering can into a plant itself
- Group a few and simply set them on the ground outside for a cute watering can vignette
- Use them in a vignette (probably best for smaller ones indoors)
- Hang it up (peg board, outdoor yard stake with hook)
- Get creative– think outside the box!!!
I’m a firm believer that if it’s way too inconvenient, I’ll eventually forget or stop doing it– whatever that task is. It’s got really nothing to do with laziness and more to do with the fact that I’m a busy mom and some things can just slip under the rug if I’m not careful!! In this case, I’m referring specifically to watering plants. If I keep the tools I need around and make it easy on myself, I’m more likely to keep those bad boys alive. And I strive to be a good plant mom!!
Now I do have an indoor plant care tip for you (although it doesn’t really involve watering cans)!! Click HERE to see it– it’s been a miracle worker for me. And if you decide to go this path, you can still grab a couple watering cans for those outdoor plants or simply for gorgeous decor.
